On the morning of August 15, 2024, Fan Guijun, member of the Party group of Weifang Arbitration Commission Office, secretary of the Party branch of Weifang Commercial Mediation Center, and Zhong Hongfa, head of the second section of Weifang Commercial Mediation Center, visited Shenzhen Qianhai International Commercial Mediation Center for research and exchanges, and were warmly received by Pang De, Deputy Secretary General, and Li Bingyang, Secretary General's Assistant, and had a discussion meeting with the two sides. Both sides introduced the basic situation of their respective mediation institutions, and exchanged experiences and practices on the construction and management of mediation institutions, the system of standardization of mediation business, the system of quality management and procedural management of mediation cases, and the system of hiring and management of mediators, etc. The two sides believed that the road of commercial mediation is a long way to go. Both sides believed that the road to commercial mediation is a long one, and fully recognized the significance of “exchanging and learning from each other's strengths” for mediation institutions.

The seminar helped to promote the exchange of experience and learning in the development of commercial mediation between the two places, and to work together for active exploration in the field of commercial mediation.
