On September 26, 2024, a promotional event for intellectual property dispute mediation was successfully held at the Shenzhen Public Legal Service Center. The event was hosted by the Shenzhen Judicial Bureau, Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Bureau), and Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court, and organized by the China (Shenzhen) Intellectual Property Protection Center and Futian District Hetao International Commercial Mediation Center. The event was supported by the Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology, Shenzhen One Stop Diversified Dispute Resolution Center for Foreign related Hong Kong and Macao businesses, and the Futian District Lawyer Working Committee of the Shenzhen Bar Association. The event, with the theme of "Dispute Joint Mediation, Linkage and Upgrading, and Collaborative Protection of Intellectual Property Rights Opening a New Era", attracted nearly a hundred representatives of mediation organizations, industry associations, experts, scholars, and lawyers to attend.

The establishment ceremony of the Shenzhen Intellectual Property Dispute Mediation Alliance and the signing and awarding ceremony of the first batch of alliance members were held during the event. 20 units, including the Shenzhen Qianhai International Commercial Mediation Center, signed a commitment letter to join the alliance on site, officially joining the alliance, marking a new stage of development for the mediation of intellectual property disputes in Shenzhen. Each member unit will cooperate more closely, share resources, and jointly address the challenges of intellectual property disputes. Through the alliance platform, efficient linkage of dispute mediation can be achieved, improving mediation efficiency, reducing the cost of enterprise rights protection, and providing more solid legal protection for the innovation driven development strategy of Shenzhen and even the whole country.
