Chen Junyao, executive vice president of Chaoshan chamber of Commerce, executive chairman of legal work committee, director of Guangdong Ruite law firm and senior lawyer, made a speech. He introduced that Shenzhen Chaoshan chamber of commerce is a community organization jointly initiated and established by entrepreneurs in Shenzhen in the four cities of eastern Guangdong. Since its establishment, the chamber of Commerce has actively built two service systems and three economic platforms, and included legal services in the member service section of the chamber of Commerce. Over the years, the legal work committee has provided timely and effective legal advisory services for members, safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of member enterprises, and provided legal guarantee for the development of member enterprises. At the same time, the Law Commission, with the help of the platform, signed a memorandum of understanding with Futian, Luohu, Qianhai, Nanshan, Baoan, Longgang, Longhua, Pingshan and other courts, and actively carried out diversified efforts to resolve disputes, helping the major courts of Shenzhen to do mediation work before litigation.

Executive Vice President Chen Junyao affirmed the broad development prospects of the mediation center, because the Chinese have always respected "harmony" and mediation is consistent with Chinese traditional culture. He also said that Chaoshan chamber of Commerce will jointly agree on cooperation details with the mediation center, exchange mediation experience and jointly provide professional mediation services for Chaozhou merchants.

She introduced the mediation center from the development background, establishment process, cooperation and exchange, business development and other sections, and hoped that the mediation center could establish close contact with the legal working committee of Chaoshan chamber of Commerce, realize resource docking and sharing, and let the majority of Chaozhou business enterprises recognize the benefits of mediation, so as to accept and choose mediation independently.

Huang Yibo, vice president of Chaoshan chamber of Commerce, executive vice chairman and Secretary General of legal work committee, made a speech. He said that the legal work committee has a perfect working system and organizational structure. It has set up professional subgroups for criminal affairs, real estate, bankruptcy reorganization and enterprise affairs, as well as four centers and a secretariat. It is based on Chaozhou lawyers and introduces some non Chaozhou lawyers as expert consultants. At present, the number of members is nearly 100. Through special lectures and salons, the legal work committee publicizes and popularizes legal knowledge in various forms to provide legal services and rights protection for members. As a special mediation organization of Shenzhen district courts, the legal work committee promoted the diversified settlement of contradictions and disputes in the courts.

Secretary General Huang Yibo pointed out that mediation, as one of the "troikas" of dispute resolution, will have great potential under the current trend of contradiction and dispute development and resolution of "putting the non litigation dispute resolution mechanism ahead". In the future, the legal work committee and the mediation center will strengthen communication and contact and agree on the cooperation mode, so as to better provide mediation services for Chaozhou enterprises.

At present, many foreign trade enterprises have many international commercial disputes to be solved, but they lack awareness of the dispute resolution method of mediation. Therefore, the mediation center can publicize the benefits of mediation through visits, exchanges and lectures, so that enterprises can gradually realize the impartiality, independence, efficiency and convenience of mediation.
